I had a delightful stay! The breakfast was exceptional and the cheese platter at New Year’s Eve was a lovely surprise. The room was charmingly decorated and spacious, just like the photos!

I really enjoyed my stay at Schluessel in Lucerne. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and near the riverside. It made exploring the city super easy. The historical decor adds a charming touch to the hotel, making it feel warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with my luggage and provide great local dining recommendations. Check-in was smooth and convenient with a seamless self check-in process. However, there were a few drawbacks. The room felt too small and lacked air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable during hot weather. On one night, we had to evacuate due to a fire alarm, which was a bit alarming even though it turned out to be a false alarm. Despite these issues, the overall ambiance of the hotel was enjoyable, and I appreciated the complimentary refreshments available on one of the floors.

Super cute boutique hotel! The superior double room was comfy with great bed linens. I loved the shower and the toiletries were all high quality. Rooms were clean with a nice view of the quiet street. Staff were super friendly, and breakfast had fresh croissants and organic juices. Only downside was no A/C, but the place is lovely overall.

the only downside was the self check-in, which was a bit confusing. everything else was lovely! breakfast was amazing (the fresh bread was divine! ), the staff helped with my luggage, and the location was perfect for exploring.
